Lean Enterprise Institute Announces Keynote Lineup of “Game-Changers” for Annual Summit
Executives and change agents from solar energy, IT, and restaurant businesses will reveal how their lean transformations are disrupting industries.
Executives from a wide variety of industries will describe game-changing lean management applications at the Lean Transformation Summit, March 17-18, 2016, in Las Vegas, NV.
The annual conference, presented by the nonprofit Lean Enterprise Institute, is expected to draw more than 500 lean practitioners from around the world, seeking innovative, how-to information about starting or sustaining lean transformations.
In an opening keynote, LEI CEO John Shook will reflect on lean management’s successes – and failures – in the 25 years since publication of The Machine That Changed the World, a management classic that first described Toyota’s revolutionary lean production system as a complete business system. Other keynoters are:
- Marty Neese, COO of SunPower, who will reveal how the solar technology and energy services company is using lean concepts to fundamentally change the way the world is powered.
- Guru Vasudeva, SVP & CIO, and Tom Paider, AVP, both of Nationwide, who will explain how a lean journey enabled a 9000+ person IT organization to deliver great solutions with industry-leading quality.
- Roger Berkowitz, president and CEO of Legal Seafoods, who will share details of a lean transformation that is changing how restaurants work — — from fishing boat to your belly.
